It is with sadness that I announce the death of my Father William Watts (Wattie), producer of this website. Wattie passed away peacefully on 8th September 2024 aged 98.

This website is being kept 'live' as a memorial to my Father and all those who served in the 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment - Palestine 1945-1948. The Message Board and Guestbook Forum are no longer active but archives of previous messages are available via the relevant links. The website contains the original wording as written by my Father.

3rd Bn PARACHUTE REGIMENT - Palestine 1945-1948

Although all visitors are most welcome, the main purpose of this website was to trace members of the 3rd Bn. Parachute Regiment,
who served in Palestine during the period 1945-48 and, if possible, reunite them with old friends
However, it appears that some of our visitors have difficulty finding the information they require, and, in these circumstances,
I have added an extra page containing suggestions as to the best way of navigating our website.
